Rent from the owner and save on agency booking fees. You communicate directly with me and my local house manager. I love sharing my home with people coming to enjoy Palm Springs. We charge the rental rate, cleaning, tax and deposit/insurance. Pool is heated at your option for $75 a day. NO OTHER HIDDEN "Owner" fees or high utility deposits!

Vista Las Palmas is known as the "Beverley Hills of Palm Springs" Oscar nominee Jackie Cooper owned this home and neighbors included Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Dinah Shore (home now owned by Leonardo DiCaprio)!

We couldn't have more pleased with our stay at this home over Thanksgiving weekend. The mountains seem to rise up out of nowhere to provide an incredible backdrop for the back patio and pool area of this fantastic mid-century modern home in one of Palm Springs' most historic neighborhoods. It was the perfect spot for our weekend get-away not only because of how lovely and spacious the home is but also for the proximity to the main strip of Palm Springs. (A couple of times, we walked to the strip, which took only about 15 minutes.) Both the property manager and the owner were super-attentive to our questions and requests (thank you!). When we go back to PS, there is no doubt we'll rent this house again.

Margaret and her property manager are world class, and the house is warm, inviting, and exactly how described on site. There is so much to do in close-by downtown area, yet at the same time there is very little need to leave this gorgeous home. Thank you, Maragaret...we will be back.

This house is true to it's 1960s roots. Very cool. Amazing mountains rise above the back yard. The house is very nicely appointed in mid-century modern style. Beds are comfortable, good bed linens. Nice pool, spa, gas fire pit, outdoor grill, chic front atrium. The neighborhood is beautiful - no overhead utilities, houses and yards are well-maintained, quiet, great for walking. Close in to the down town with shopping, restaurants, art museum, etc. The owner and manager ensure there are plenty of supplies - towels, shampoo, hair dryers, kitchen utensils, etc and extras in case needed. It is very clean. Really, I could go on. Bottom line, we highly recommend it and hope to go back again.

The property managers Marshall and Tony were friendly and responsive. The fire pit was a great feature for chilly nights. The neighbourhood is very quiet and a nice walk from downtown.
